Girl Scouts of Pine Valley Council wants the best for the girls in our community; therefore, we offer the programs, environment, and leadership that have been proven to help girls succeed. Yet, the reality is the programs we offer to 7,572 girls and 2,208 adults have a price tag. It costs the Council more than $160 per girl to participate in Girl Scouting! Total expenses for the Council were $1,566,727in 2006 – and that figure keeps growing.
Your financial contribution is one of the best investments you can make to provide tomorrow’s leaders with the resources to succeed. Whether you give $25 or $250, it will make a difference in a girl's life. Together, we are building girls of Courage, Confidence and Character, who make the world a better place! Your contribution will:
- Give every girl a chance to participate in Girl Scouting, no matter what her financial or living situation, disability, or ethnicity.
- Provide quality programs to the 7,572 girls in the 14 counties we serve.
- Educate and train our 2,208 volunteers who commit their time and effort to guide our Girl Scouts and inspire them to become happy and resourceful citizens.
- Award financial scholarship tog girls ages 11-17 for “Destinations”, a chance of a lifetime for girls to travel to exciting places, make lifelong friends, and explore their interests.
- Allow girls to attend Resident Camp who may not have the financial means to take part in this Girl Scout tradition.
